On behalf of the members of the Twin Rivers Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, I would like to welcome you to our website.
The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of 12,000 professional women of color located in 41 states, the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of the Bahamas. It is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture and economic survival of African Americans and other persons of African ancestry.
Twin Rivers is one of 276 chapters that comprise The Links, Incorporated. The Twin Rivers Chapter was chartered February 22, 1988 by 24 women who were pillars of our community. These women had a vision of an organization that would transcend time and continually enhance the lives of families in our community and beyond.
It is an exciting time for the Twin Rivers Chapter as we continue to grow and adapt, remaining always motivated, responsive, and committed to the uplifting of our community and beyond. As you navigate through the website, you will find information relative to our chapter’s history, service initiatives and upcoming events.
Today, the Twin Rivers Chapter of The Links, Incorporated still provides outstanding service centered on our mission; which is “to enrich the lives of families, youth and individuals in our community, nationally and internationally through arts, social service, health improvement, programming and education.” Through our Health and Human Services, International Trends and Services, National Trends and Services, Services to Youth and The Arts Facets, we have provided activities and developed programs that have positively affected well over 1,600 children and families in Central Ohio and beyond.
Enjoy browsing our website. I believe you will find the information important and useful in learning more about the specific programs and services currently underway.
In friendship and service,
